SERVICE DESK SHIFT MANAGERS

Service Desk Shift Mangers are the face of the Y, handle day-to-day operations of the front desk, and provide customer service to members and guests. Shift Managers take on a leadership role in the absence of the Service Desk Lead, Department Coordinator, or Department Director. They also possess a strong understanding of all YMCA programs and services and support Service Desk Attendants.

Aquatics
EVENING AQUATICS LEAD
PART-TIME
Join our Aquatics team as an Evening Aquatics Lead and assist the Aquatics Director & Day Lead with this entry level managerial position.
This position works in tandem with the Day Lead, and is scheduled M-F 3-9PM with on-call weekend coverage as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to shift supervision, lifeguarding, teaching swim lessons, shift coverage, assisting in the training and management of aquatics personnel including lifeguards and swim instructors, and more.

Applicants must be at least 18 to apply and be able to pass a swimming/skills test and a lifeguard certification course.
​
Lifeguard Certified applicants preferred, but we will train the right applicants.

LIFEGUARDS
PART-TIME
We are hiring lifeguards who will monitor pool activities and ensure member safety, among other duties. Lifeguards need to possess knowledge of rescue procedures and emergency medical procedures.

Many shifts are available including weekdays 4:45-9AM, 9AM-1PM, 1-4PM, 4-7PM, & 6-9PM. Weekends 6AM-10AM, 10AM-1:30PM, 1:30-5PM, & 4-8PM.
​
Applicants must be at least 15 to apply and be able to pass a swimming/skills test and a lifeguard certification course.

Lifeguard Certified applicants preferred, but we will train the right applicants.

SWIM INSTRUCTORS
PART-TIME
We are looking for instructors who are energetic, positive role models, and have experience teaching swim lessons. Our program is designed for children 6 months – 16 years of age. Onsite training will be available at time of hire.

Swim Instructors plan and instruct swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines. Applicants must be at least 16 to apply.
​
Lessons are usually offered five days a week: M-Th 3:45-6:30PM & Sat 8:45AM-11:30AM

We are looking for evening Child Watch Associates to join our drop-in child watch team! Position hours are 4:45-8:15PM M-TH.

This position requires staff to supervise, engage, and interact with youth ages 0-8.

We are adding Personal Trainers to our team! This flexible position instructs and assists members and guests in reaching their health goals through exercise, support, and fitness evaluations.

WELLNESS ASSOCIATES

The Training Center is hiring Wellness Associates to join our YMCA team!
​
Hiring for these shifts:
Openings: MWF 4:45AM-9AM
Mid-Shifts: MWF 1-6PM
Weekends: 5:45-10AM, 10AM-4PM, 4-9PM

Wellness Associates monitor the Training Center floor, enforce YMCA and Training Center policies to keep members and guests safe, ensure machines, equipment, and Training Center areas are kept clean, and provide assistance with cardio and weight equipment as needed.
​
All applicants must be at least 16, display friendly customer service skills, and have basic knowledge of proper form in regard to utilizing cardio and weight equipment.

CROSSFIT COACH

We are adding certified CrossFit Coaches to our team! This position leads CrossFit classes for different skill levels as well as motivate participants through positive encouragement and active participation.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS

We are searching for three Maintenance team members to join us Full-Time!

Our Maintenance team members perform janitorial duties in all areas of the facility. These positions are also required to operate basic equipment such as vacumm, wet vacuum, carpet shampooer, sweeper, and scrubber.
