GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

The YMCA offers 80+ weekly group fitness classes for all ages, all levels and all interests. From spirit, mind and body classes such as Yoga and Trifusion, to high-intensity cardio and strength training such as Cycling and ZUMBA®, we’ve got something for every body and every age on both land and inwater. We hope you’ll find a class that’s fun, supportive, fits your schedule and keeps you moving. Classes are included in membership.

We also have LesMills which offers a wide variety of virtual fitness programming on-demand. If no class is scheduled in the Group Exercise room, use the Les Mills iPad on the wall to choose a virtual class.

Land Fitness
Barre

You will tone, define & chisel the body by combining strength, flexibility and short cardio bursts using techniques derived from dance, Pilates and Yoga. No dance experience required.​​

Delay the Disease $

Register for these classes at the Service Desk to improve the physical, mental, and emotional realities of patients with Parkinson’s, Stroke, or other ailment.

 

Gentle Yoga

The beginner poses and asanas in this class are geared to improve your muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, stamina, and overall wellness, while also including meditation and body awareness.

​HIIT

This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body and improve your endurance.

Muscle Pump

Designed to give you a total body workout using bars and weights. Increases strength and tones muscles you never knew you had. 

Pilates

Exercise which emphasizes the development of abdominal strength, spinal flexibility, as well as precise alignment of the body.

PiYo LIVE®

Dynamic movements based off the principles of Yoga & Pilates will give you a full body workout of strength training and conditioning.

Sculpt & Strength

This total body workout combines conditioning, circuits, Tabata’s, with strength and cardio intervals designed develop a lean sculpted body.

Trifusion

A class composed of 3 formats: Pilates for core strength, Yoga for stretching and flexibility, and Barre for toning and posture improvement. 

 
Yoga

This class will help improve your breathing. increase flexibility, improve your strength and endurance. It will also develop greater mind/body awareness

Zumba®

Ditch the workout, join the party! This Latin-based cardio dance class attracts members at all levels and ages. It uses a combination of Latin dance moves with high-intensity aerobic movements to help burn hundreds of calories.

Zumba Toning®

This class defines those muscles with body sculpting exercises with Toning Sticks which enhance sense of rhythm and coordination while toning target zones including arms, core, and lower body.  

Active Older Adult Fitness

Silversneakers Classic®

Have fun & move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills.

ZUMBA Gold®

Focuses on balance, range of motions, and coordination with easy-to-follow, slow paced choreography.

ZUMBA Gold-Toning®

Blending the ZUMCA you love at a slower pace with muscle defining Toning Sticks to shake up those muscles.

Seated, low impact 30 minute ride with a scenic trail playing in the background.  This class works on cardio and leg strength.

A shallow water workout using water and equipment for resistance, toning muscles, and increasing endurance and flexibility.

Deep Water Fit

The resistance from treading water while preforming a variety of exercises is great for the total body. Flotation devices are available if assistance is needed.

SilverSneakers SilverSplash®

Designed for our Active Older Adults, this class helps increase range of motion, strength, and stamina.

Young at Heart Aqua Fitness

This class is designed for individuals that want a class with lower impact. Range of motion and flexibility are emphasized.

Cycling
Senior Cycle

This participant led class is a seated, low impact 30 minute ride with a scenic trail playing in the background. This class works on cardio and leg strength.

YMCA Cycling

Join us for hill climbing, sprints, flats and so much more.  Side effects include greater cardio conditioning and improved stamina.

Water Fitness

The resistance from treading water while preforming a variety of exercises is great for the total body. Flotation devices are available if assistance is needed.

SilverSneakers SilverSplash®

Designed for our Active Older Adults, this class helps increase range of motion, strength, and stamina.

Aqua Fit

A shallow water workout using water and equipment for resistance, toning muscles, and increasing endurance and flexibility.

Young at Heart

This class is designed for individuals that want a class with lower impact. Range of motion and flexibility are emphasized.

H2O Fit

This class provides a vigorous interval workout. By switching back and forth from cardio to strength training this class will increase the heart rate while strengthening muscles too.
