We are beyond grateful for the patience and support of our members and community as we continue working through flood recovery efforts. While progress has been steady, we still have several major areas of the facility under repair.
Below is the latest update on spaces, timelines, and how you can help us move forward.
FACILITY UPDATES
Locker Rooms & Hallway
The Adult Locker Rooms & hallways are set to reopen on Monday, September 22 as carpet is currently being installed. A huge thank you to Tollefson’s Carpetland for donating the carpet and installation as it has been a tremendous help in our flood recovery.
Hot tubs in the locker rooms will remain closed until cleared by the First District Health Unit. Steam rooms and dry saunas will reopen on Monday.
The Universal Locker Room and Personal Care Room will reopen on Monday, September 22. The Personal Care Room is a space housing an adult changing table and open for lactation near Universal Locker Room.
Child Watch
The Child Watch will reopen Monday, Sept 22 with same hours.
Monthly unlimited Child Watch payments were paused during the closure. Please stop by the Service Desk to renew your monthly unlimited Child Watch at your convenience.
We are still seeking donations through our Amazon Wishlist and also accepting new or gently used toys, books, and baby bouncers for ages 0–8.
Cycling Room & Training Center Updates
After classes on Monday, Sept 22, the Cycling Room will be relocating to the Circuit Room in the East Training Center (next to the CrossFit Box). Equipment removal from the Circuit Room has already begun and will be relocated throughout the Training Center.
Due to the relocation of equipment. The East Training Center stretching area will be moved to the West Training Center near the cardio area. Ask Training Center staff for directions if needed.
Cycling classes in the new space will begin Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
TV Provider Changes
We are switching TV services in our facility to DIRECTV. Due to the plan we received, the TV's in the Training Center are limited to a maxium of 12 channels. The TV's in the locker rooms and community room will have full channel access.
If interested, take our channel preference survey open through Tuesday, Sept 23 and help us choose the 12 channels for the Training Center.
Gyms & Racquetball Courts
South Gym & Racquetball Courts
Remain closed. We are exploring programming opportunities for the South Gym once it is safe. Stay tuned for exciting updates!
North Gym
Mostly open, but please note that the sectioned-off area remains closed due to flooring safety hazards.
⚠️ Please do not enter any closed or sectioned off areas and continue to respect posted signage for your safety and the safety of our staff.
HOW YOU CAN HELP: FLOOD RECOVERY CAMPAIGN
We are in the early stages of launching a Flood Recovery Campaign to help cover these unexpected costs. The damage and repairs have placed significant strain on our finances, and while membership dollars keep our doors open and our staff employed, it is contributions and donations that will allow us to fully recover and reopen renovated spaces.
We are not talking about the possibility of closing our doors—we believe in the strength of this community and our ability to overcome this challenge together. But we want to be transparent: these costs are large, unexpected, and we cannot do this alone.
Ways to Give:
Make a gift to our Flood Recovery Campaign
Donate toys, books, or baby items for Child Watch from their Amazon Wishlist
