The Kid’s Gym will be reopening in its new location (former Racquetball Court 1) next Tuesday, November 1. This space has a few new pieces but stay tuned to learn about exciting renovation plans for this space in the future. Same policies apply and will be posted when new signage is received.
We have also made the difficult decision to temporarily discontinue the child watch program in the In-Y Daycare effective December 17, 2022.
Though a difficult decision to make, this decision was made in conjunction with our partner, Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports & Therapy. We are excited to utilize the In-Y Daycare space for the expansion and growth of their pediatric therapy program. In this space PGAS will be able to enhance group therapy services to include such programs as: sibshops (sibling support), developmental preschool, feeding, social skills, and emotional regulation groups. We are excited for Prairie Grit to be able to hire more staff to provide comprehensive rehabilitative and habilitative pediatric therapy services here at the Y.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause for you and your family; rest assured that we have been and are actively discussing ways to reestablish this program in the future as space becomes available.
The monthly childcare fees for December 2022 will be reduced by half to reflect the shortened program offering. After the 16th, all In-Y childcare autodraft fees will be removed from any accounts that are currently enrolled.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to best serve the needs of the Minot Community

We will be canceling our family membership effective December 17th then. That's the ONLY reason we joined the YMCA. Minot needs a Y with childcare more than they need Prairie Grit to expand. It's the frigid tundra up here, and moms really need a place to go in the . This is why Minot can't keep young families here. They all leave for cities that have more to offer families.
