Inside our 1600 square foot designated CrossFit facility we have access to:

  • 16 pull-up stations

  • 20 foot Monster rig that includes 4 squat stands

  • 10+ Olympic weightlifting bars (including training bars)

  • 4 Concept 2 rowers

  • 1200+ pounds of bumper plates

  • 1200+ pounds of metal plates

  • Kettlebells, medicine balls, slam balls, jump ropes, ab mats, bands, plyometric boxes, foam rollers, & more!

  • And certainly not least, experienced coaches that can help you reach your goals!

Accountability

Another reason that North Plains CrossFit stands out is the community that we are creating. One of the biggest reasons that most people start to skip out on their monthly “Globo Gym” membership is they don’t have anyone to hold them accountable. With our classes you will get to know the people that you are sweating with! We will also hold events, get-togethers, and cookouts!

Fast Paced Format

Each class starts with a warm-up, progresses into some “skill” work (can you do a handstand push-up?), then the workout of the day (WoD) starts! Our coaching staff will make sure that you understand the workout, how to perform the movements correctly and safely, and will then talk with you after the workout about nutrition, sleep, recovery, and a variety of other topics.

Why CrossFit?

With any CrossFit class you are getting an all-inclusive form of exercise that is designed to test your physical abilities. Strength, balance, flexibility, accuracy, and stamina are just a few of the “General Physical Skills” that we will test and improve.

However, at North Plains CrossFit you gain access to not only a workout program but also a coaching staff that is dedicated to helping you reach a higher level of fitness! You’re getting a personal trainer!

Not only do you get to work with professional personal trainers during every workout but you will be taught functional movements like Olympic lifting, gymnastics, and other exercises designed to make your daily activities easier.

If you’re not satisfied with your current fitness level, are looking for something new, want to learn new exercises, want to meet new people, want access to an educated and experienced coaching staff, and want to get a good workout while doing it then North Plains CrossFit is for you! CrossFit Policies
  • A CrossFit membership is required to participate in CrossFit classes. Each individual is entitled to a free 7 day trial period before becoming a member.

  • Equipment should not be removed from the CrossFit room as this equipment is purchased through Trinity and not the YMCA. Please refrain from bringing equipment into the CrossFit room as well.

  • When there is not a CrossFit class scheduled, the room is open to Y members and guests to use.  If CrossFit is being held in the pool, the Box is considered open during the scheduled class time.

  • The door to the CrossFit room must remain open for member use if a CrossFit class (coach or participant led) is not in session.

  • Stereo use is prohibited outside of scheduled CrossFit classes as our music licensing agreement only covers employees affiliated with the YMCA.

  • Due to the structural integrity of the space, dropping weights directly onto the floor from above waist height (or approx. 28") is not recommended or tolerated as advised by CWStructural Engineers.

  • All Training Center Guidelines also apply to the CrossFit Box, these policies are posted in both the East & West Training Center as well as on our website.
