SWIM LESSONS

The YMCA provides swimming lessons to swimmers of all ages and skill levels. We also offer private lessons, adult lessons, and adaptive swim programs for swimmers with special needs, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.

Private Swim Lessons

Learn to swim in a one-on-one or buddy class structure. Receive the swim instructors undivided attention in a class where you will learn water safety, swimming skills, and endurance.

Group Swim Lessons

Kids and adults alike can thrive alongside their peers learning at the same pace while still focusing on each individuals strengths and weaknesses in the water. Each participant will make friends, making this the most social type of lesson of all!

Out of Town Group Swim Lessons

Registration for Out of Town lessons for rural areas opens in May each year for June, July, or August. Please note these lessons are reserved for participants in each listed community only.
