Trinity Health and Minot Family YMCA provide you with many exercise physiology programs to help people of all skills and ages reach their personal health and fitness goals.
Trinity's staff is professional, motivated and highly trained. All have at least an undergraduate degree in a health/fitness related field and are certified (or in the pursuit of certification) by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), and/or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Cancer Exercise Rehab
This service is available for Trinity Health cancer survivors and patients. Our program helps you cope with recovery of cancer related side effect by fostering renewed energy, strength, and joy through physical exercise. Most patients are referred to this program by their physician, but it is not required. Through funding from local community foundations and programs, the cost of this program for the patient is zero!
This program is provided as a continuum of health care following physical therapy, occupational therapy, or any other condition your physician feels you could improve by engaging in a regular exercise regimen. We provide a safe and effective program to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and returning to full activity. The rates are the same as personal training. Currently, the cost of this programming is not covered by most 3rd party insurers.

Trinity Health and the Minot Family YMCA are unique in that Trinity Health and the Minot Family YMCA were one of the first YMCA/Medical Facility partnerships in the United States. This partnership allows us to provide the most complete wellness experience possible.
Our services include personal training, clinical exercise, corporate wellness programs, cancer exercise rehab, exercise prescriptions, fitness assessments, and CrossFit.
Our Trinity Health employees can provide you with personal instruction, education, and evaluation of your fitness routine. We teach you safe and research-driven techniques to help you reach your wellness goals. The rates vary and are subject to change; YMCA membership fees are also required. The rates are as follows:
One 30 minute session - Individual
Four 30 minute sessions - Individual
Eight 30 minute sessions - Individual
Twelve 30 minute session - Individual
Sixteen 30 minute session - Individual
Group Personal Training - 3 or more individuals per group
Fee $20/person/hour (Must purchase 4 sessions minimum)
Have you ever wondered just what kind of shape you are in? Through a detailed fitness assessment, we can tell you exactly! By completing a series of standardized fitness evaluations, we can compare your scores to national standards and point out strengths and weaknesses in your physical fitness status.

Individual Exercise Prescription
If you are like most people, you know you should exercise, but you just don't know where to start. This service provides the client with a 12-week training program that is tailored to fit their individual goals.
Our staff take you through the program design, making sure you are comfortable with the exercises and protocol. After that initial session, you continue on your own.
12 Week Program with 45 minute orientation
This service is available for all local businesses and organizations to receive fitness assessments, blood screenings, and health risk appraisals, as well as education regarding the benefits of exercise on the workforce. Research has proven that for every $1 a business spends on wellness, there is a return of $5 to $7!

Delay the Disease
This program is taught by an OhioHealth certified instructor and is for people living with Parkinson's Disease. It is designed to empower participants by optimizing their physical function and helping to delay the progression of symptoms and restore as much of their independence as possible while working on balance, walking, and quality of life.
